The role of the Residential Construction Inspector is to provide oversight of the construction and rehabilitation of residential single and multi-family properties. The individual that applies for this position must have extensive field experience in residential construction with some familiarity in the elevation of homes. The candidate must be able to travel between jobsites within a 50-mile radius. Licensed Professional Home Inspector in the State of Texas is desired, but not necessarily a requirement for a well-experienced individual. Minimum ICC Residential Building Inspector (B1) Certification required. ICC Residential Code certifications are highly desired.
